FYI: R. Straman Co., a coach builder company in CA was commissioned by Nissan back in 90-91 to convert their, new then, 300ZX t-top into convertible. With a few well-known conversion from Ferraris to Mercedes, and Z31 Straman, the company was not a stranger to building custom convertible.
