I hope you don't mind a novel, because I plan to lay out all the good and bad for you.
This is the base model (non-turbo) 2.0L V6 5 speed manual with black exterior and tan interior. Bose speakers, power driver's seat, leather seats, and glass t-top. We're looking to sell this car because we need something bigger (more family friendly) to drive.
It has a new water pump, rack and pinion is new, new tires, alternator was replaced 8 months ago, and I replaced the two-piece drive shaft with a high performance one piece a year ago. The u-joints were replaced and I had a AAA technician give it a once over in November and he said the car was in good condition. Paperwork and mechanics can be provided, if requested.
A car of this age is going to have issues and this one is no different. It currently has a small oil leak in the engine, I believe it's the front crankshaft seal. I make sure to check the oil every week and generally need to add half a quart once a month. It recently acquired a slight engine tick, which goes away after she's warm.
Other minor issues: the driver side seat is quite worn (see picture), the glove box lock isn't holding (I believe a new lock can be purchased at Z1 Motorsports - I've just been lazy), a few scratches just from age and how the car was treated before us.
It has been our daily driver for the past 6 years and even with its issues it gets us around without any problems. It's a damn fun car to drive and will blast off from a stand still.
I would prefer selling to someone who is a Z32 enthusiast or someone with the interest to get these issues listed above fixed. The car is a beauty and drives really well. I have lost track how many times I've been asked to sell it when I'm stopped at gas stations and in parking lots.
Looking for $2800, obo.
